Her recently published article, “Writing Centers: The Best Place for Undergraduate Research,” argues that writing centers, the programs in which students learn about tutoring, and the academic discipline of writing center studies are ideal locations for such research because they enable students to develop authentic questions while enhancing their research and tutoring skills, to reframe their roles within higher education, and to prepare for a range of career paths.
